We believe good design starts with simplicity. That means a material that’s easy to understand, easy to use, and easy to love. By transforming something as humble as nutshells, we keep things uncomplicated, proving that simple solutions can make the biggest impact.
We don’t overload our recipe with unnecessary additives so we have the walnut shells with their natural strength and character, and a binder derived from fermentation of sidestreams, certified fully biobased and biodegradable in all environments.
The same goes for the conversion of our material. We’ve built it to work with existing production infrastructure, so switching to our material is seamless and uncomplicated for manufacturers.
So, it’s simplicity that makes sense to us.

Recycling what we have on earth already is important, but it often still involves fossil-based materials and energy-intensive processes, and when things end up in the wrong place, they can still harm nature.
That’s why we don’t want to chase quick fixes. Instead, we build for full circularity, ensuring our materials return safely to nature at the end of their life.
